NEW CHAIR REQUIRED
After 3 years as Chair, and 5 very enjoyable years as part of the Brockley Open Studios team, Sarah Crossfield will be stepping down from the role at the end of the year. The Committee will need to appoint a new chair by the next AGM which will take place in January 2027.
If you have an interest in the visual arts and would like to become involved in our work supporting local artists do drop us a line to find out a bit more about what the role involves brockleyopen@gmail.com . The current chair will provide a fully supported handover and will be able to continue to contribute to the work of the team long term. The BOS Committee is a friendly and professional team and we encourage interest in the role from any part of our local community. More information on the aims of our organisation, past events and our constitution can be found on our website.
WE ARE LOOKING FOR HELP WITH PUBLICITY FOR OUR 2026 EVENT
Brockley Open Studios is growing. At our 2025 event over 50 artists welcomed the public into their studios and homes to show their latest work - a record number.
We want to improve our marketing and are looking for help developing and placing publicity in the run up to our July Open Studios weekend.
If you have some ideas and are interested in helping the team support our local creative community drop us a line.
Email brockleyopen@gmail.com to find out more...
We are a small friendly team and you don't need to be an artist to become involved in our organisation. Take a look at our website to learn about our history and what we do. Some marketing/design experience and an interest in the visual arts would be great. We are run by volunteers but there may be a small budget for remuneration.
