SANDY CONNELL

Sandy Connell is a photographer from West Sussex who got lost in filmmaking for several years before settling down and embracing photography as his artistic medium. Working primarily on film, his practice was reborn in landscape photography then jumped across the spectrum of genres into live music photography. In between these disparate genres, the rest of his work emerges, unruly and unpredictable.

Sandy formed the photographers band ISO 3 with his cousins, Stanley and Tim. This year the photographer family of ISO 3 will present their first fully collaborative exhibition, showcasing their project TELEFOTON. Forming an exhibition and a self-published photo book, TELEFOTON is a game played to create a sequence of images that evolves as each artist/player responds to the image that is passed to them by the previous artist/player. ISO 3 will also present new developments and dimensions in their collaborative double-exposure travel photography project, THE DEXIES.
