STANLEY LONGMAN
Stanley Longman is a photographer from London with an intuition for capturing the natural world and intimacy between people. With a humanist eye, he shoots analogue images of people at work and people exploring modes of expression, be they musicians in performance, festival goers or seekers in mysterious landscapes. Stanley’s photography is quietly assertive, joyful, un-showy-ly beguiling and tuned in to the unrepeatable moment.
Stanley formed the photographers band ISO 3 with his brother, Tim, and his cousin, Sandy. Together, they have completed their first photo book, TELEFOTON, which will be the basis of their exhibition at BOS 2026. Like 'Telephone', in which children whisper a sentence to each other, distorting the words as they go down the line, TELEFOTON creates a developing sequence of images as each artist/player responds to the previous artist/player's image. will also show new prints from the double-exposure travel photography project THE DEXIES.
