TIM GEORG HEINZE

Tim Georg Heinze is a visual artist and musician, born in Potsdam, Germany. His photographic practice is focused exclusively on analogue methods but is otherwise bound only by the limits of time and resources. He has made images on film frozen in a block of ice, he has created tableaux of conceptual double exposures on contact sheets and he is a natural born street photographer.

Tim is one member of the photographers band with his brother, Stanley Longman, and his cousin, Sandy Connell. TELEFOTON is ISO 3's first fully collaborative exhibition and photo book, based entirely on their archives. Created as a game in which each artist sends another an image in secret, prompting the other to select an image as a visual response to their prompt, TELEFOTON joins Tim's first collaborative project, THE DEXIES, as another expression of ISO 3's shared exploration of analogue photography.
